Fellow Binancians,
We are pleased to announce a series of enhancements to Binance Institutional Loan, expanding borrowing capacity, broadening eligibility, and introducing fixed-rate term loan structures.
1. Leverage Cap Increased to 5x
Institutional Loan now supports up to 5x leverage for all eligible risk units, both existing and newly onboarded clients. No re-onboarding is required; the updated limit applies automatically
2. Updated LTV Thresholds
To provide greater borrowing flexibility, the following LTV parameters have been updated:
| Parameter | Previous | New |
|---|---|---|
| Initial LTV | 75% | 80% |
| Transfer-Out LTV (excluding spot collateral) | 75% | 83% |
| Transfer-Out LTV | 75% | 83% |
| Margin Call LTV | 85% | 85% (unchanged) |
| Liquidation LTV | 90% | 90% (unchanged) |
Please note: Margin Call and Liquidation LTV thresholds remain unchanged. These updates represent an expansion of borrowing capacity, not a reduction in liquidation protection.
The new thresholds take effect automatically for all risk units. Clients who have not drawn additional borrowings will not see any impact to their current LTV position.
3. Expanded Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Institutional Loan have been broadened significantly, widening access to Institutional Loan.
